Nigerian striker, Moffi voted Lorient’s player for last season

Terem Moffi has been voted by readers of Ouest France as Lorient’s Ligue 1 player for the 2020/21 season after the young Nigerian striker shone like a million stars.
Little-known Lorient forward, Moffi is certainly the Nigerian revelation in the French Ligue 1 last season.
The 22-year-old former Kortrijk of Belgium attacker took the French Ligue 1 by storm scoring 14 goals and bagging three assists in 32 appearances and clocking 2,089 minutes to help Lorient retain their top-flight status.
Moffi’s incredible debut season saw him score goals against Ligue 1 top sides, Paris Saint-Germain, AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille which made headlines and had him make the French Lique 1 Team of the Week a number of times.
Lorient coach Christophe Pelissier sang the praise of the new Nigerian sensation: “Terem is a man of gold. It’s amazing the state of mind of this player. He ticks all the boxes of a top-level player.”
Moffi’s superlative performance has not gone unnoticed as the forward has now been voted by readers of Ouest France as Lorient’s Ligue 1 player for the 2020/21 season.
