Nollywood Legend, Pete Edochie, Wife Celebrate 53rd Wedding Anniversary (Photos)
Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie and his wife, Josephine, have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
The wedding anniversary took place in Enugu on Saturday and it was attended by prominent figures including Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the state governor.
Edochie also took to his Instagram handle to share photos from the anniversary.
In a post accompanying the pictures, the movie star hailed his wife, who he referred to as “my queen”, for being with him for over five decades.
The actor further appreciated his children for putting the event together to honour them.
“53 years of marital bliss with my queen, Chief Barrister Mrs Josephine Edochie. Thanks to my children for hosting us to the biggest party of our lifetime, yes our life because we are one,” he wrote.
“In celebration of our 53yrs of marriage and life in goodness and in good health.
“These past 53yrs, God blessed us with six biological children (among all the inherited ones and numerous grand-children)
“Five gentlemen and a beautiful adorable lady, Leo; Adam; Linc; Jean; Yul; Eva, respectively. Thank you all for celebrating with us.”
Recall that the famous actor had in March, this year clocked 75 years of age.
He has won numerous awards and recognition as a household name in the movie industry in Nigeria.
