Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has blasted members of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Okonkwo said members of the ruling party, have becomes thieves including animals.
He made the claim in an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
The veteran movie star argued that corruption in the APC government has taken another dimension with “animals manifesting as witches stealing from the country’s coffers.”
“On the issue of corruption, one person who is supposed to be the custodian of the money of Nigeria was alleged to have stolen N109bn; the proveable one,” he said.
“You can imagine the APC government, you are witnessing termites eating documents, monkeys swallowing money, snakes becoming money eaters in APC government.
“I did not vote for animals to begin to manifest as witches stealing our money. In the APC government, everybody has become a thief including animals.”
Overtnews recalls that Okonkwo was a member of the APC untill July — when he left the ruling party over its decision to field a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket for the 2023 elections.
A month later, the actor joined the Labour Party (LP) and promised to help in actualising the presidential bid of Peter Obi.
