Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria has got thousands of Nigerians talking after he openly called the presidential candidate of labour party, Peter Obi to take his seat at an event.
The former president had attended an event alongside several other dignitaries including, Peter Obi.
The event was put in place to celebrate a national award given to the President of the African Export-Import Bank Prof. Benedict Oramah,
In a viral video which was confirmed by Overtnews, the former president was seen calling up Obi – who was sitting at table nine – and leading him to table one. The move was applauded by the audience and several other Nigerians online.
As he stepped forward to pick the former Anambra State governor from his former seat, Obasanjo said, “In the presence of Nigerians”.
