Conntrary to reports currently circulating online, Presidential candidate of the labour party, Peter Obi has clearly stated that he has never received any personal jets for his use during labour party campaigns.
Obi who made this known in a recent Twitter post also urged those eminent Nigerians to discard these false reports.
He wrote:
“Recently, several social media reports have alluded that some eminent Nigerians have donated their personal jets for my use during my campaign. In as much as I appreciate the expression of such hopes, I have never received any of such offer.
“I pray that those eminent Nigerians mentioned, are not unduly distracted by such social media utterances. May God Almighty bless those eminent Nigerians always.
Recall few weeks ago the labour party has announced the unveiling of a website for its campaign.
While announcing the development, Peter obi urged his supporters to send donations as well as keep tabs on the campaign activities of the party through the website.
“I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit the official campaign website for the Obi-Datti Campaign organisation,” the tweet reads.
