Popular Nigerian journalist and writer, David Hundeyin has outlined necessary steps which should be taken in order to restore Nigeria’s educational system.
The journalist who shared this update in a post on his official Twitter page said the first thing that needs to be done in order to fix Nigeria’s educational system is to scrap the NYSC scheme.
According to him;
“That scheme has functioned as a technical subsidy for decades, allowing states to avoid investing in qualified educational staff, instead using corpers as cheap substitutes.
Going further, the journalist recalled how his fellow corpers “teaching” in a government-owned school in Ekiti back in 2013 refused to impact the right knowledge on their pupils.
