Nigerian University Sends Security Alert to Students, Staff Over Increase in Kidnapping, Cult Activities
Relevant authorities in the university of Calabar has issued out an intelligent report aimed at alerting students and university workers on an increase in cult activities and Kidnapping incidents within the school’s environs.
In the memo obtained by our correspondent, it was highlighted that the university management received classified intelligence report indicating a possible increase in Kidnapping and cult activities around the school’s environs.
It was also stated that most of these kidnapping incidents would be carried out by suspected militants operating along the waterways.
Their target would be resident lecturers and some identified students, it stated further.
Going further, the university’s management advised all staff and students to report any unusual moment Within and around the campus to relevant authorities.
