Senator Osita Izunaso: The Man Ndi’Orlu Needs In The Senate Come 2023

The people of Imo West Senatorial District, otherwise known as Orlu zone should not make the mistake of not electing Osita Izunazo, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as their senator come 2023.

This is because of the massive dividends of democracy they stand to gain from his representation. For one, Senator Izunazo is not a newcomer in the political arena of the country and the Imo state in particular. He has the requisite knowledge and experience that can turn around the story of any environment.

Secondly, electing senator Izunaso in next year’s polls will be his second entry into the red chambers as he had been there before and the results are nothing but quality representation – human capital development,  and all-around development of the Orlu zone.

A look at Senator Izunaso’s antecedents proves that his second coming will be the answer to the prayers of the people of the Orlu zone.

He has continued to demonstrate that he has the ability and zeal to attract massive transformation into the zone and Imo State in general.

The humble and humane Izunaso is a compassionate person. As a result of his passion and zeal for the less privileged, he was moved to set up the Kpakpando Foundation on 30th October 2005.

Kpakpando foundation was set up for people with disability (PWD). It is the foremost operational non -governmental organisation poised with the drive to cater to the vital needs and well-being of the person with a disability in Nigeria.

When he became a member of the House of Representatives, representing Oru West, Oguta, and Ohaji/ Egbema Federal Constituency of Imo state from 2003 and 2007, the results were the same – human capital development and quality representation that made the constituency have a voice and the envy of other constituencies.

The story was the same when he was elected senator in 2007 representing Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu zone). This time he even extended his quality representation to Nigeria as a whole.

After he was appointed the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Gas, the issue of gas flaring in the country got national and international attention and it was addressed.

As 2023 draws closer every day, if Orlu zone wants to see massive human and infrastructural development, it should troop out in mass and send Senator Izunaso to the red chambers through the ballot.
