The House of Representatives bid of Hon. High Chief Canice Nwachukwu to represent Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State at the National Assembly has again received a boost as the Eziachi General Assembly, Owerri branch adopted his candidacy for the green chambers.
Hon. Nwachukwu is contesting the polls under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group also affirmed to vote for Hon. Nwachukwu at the 2023 polls.
Chairman of the assembly, Sir. Mba Innocent gave the endorsement at the group’s end-of-the-year party and reunion held in Owerri, the Imo state capital on Sunday, December 18th.
Sir. Innocent said seeing and hearing from Omeogo and his team, is an indication that the federal constituency is blessed to send such a grassroots politician and good man to the national assembly.
He noted that the group’s major reason for adopting Hon. Nwachukwu for the green chambers was due to his being good, viability, and magnanimity to humanity, godliness, and his blueprints.
According to him, the group would leave no stone unturned to elect Hon. Nwachukwu in 2023.
In a remark, Hon. Nwachukwu informed the assembly that his aspiration to represent the constituency at the green chambers was for the good and betterment of the constituency.
The APC reps contender, whose both political and academic life can be traced to Eziachi, promised to carry the community along in his proposed numerous empowerment opportunities that will come through his office once he emerges victorious in the polls.
He further seized the opportunity to plead with the good people of Eziachi not to only vote for him but to also vote for one of their beloved sons, Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo for the 2023 Orlu State House of Assembly seat.
