Police confirm arrest of suspects over murder of female lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem

The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed arrest of some officers involved in the tragic demise of a Lagos based lawyer, Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem on Christmas Day,25th December.

Omobolanle who was shot dead around Ajah in Lagos State was returning from a Christmas church service.

Her husband was reportedly driving the vehicle when police operatives pulled the car.

Her children and sister also witnessed the shooting.

The Lagos state chapter of the Nigerian bar association alongside the etiosa forum had initially hinted on an intense protest over Mrs Omobolanle Raheem’s unfortunate Murder.

Responding to a tweet by a Lagos based lawyer, Mr. Kelechi Uzoka, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Mr. Benjamin Hundeyin while confirming their arrest said the ASP that shot and two others with him have since been taken into custody.

“They are to be moved to the SCID for further investigation.”
