What I Will Do If My Daughter Asks For Gender Change – #BBNaija’s Bambam
Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Bamike Adenibuyan aka Bambam, has spoken out about what she would do if her daughter told her she wanted to change her gender.
She said this on Thursday’s episode of ‘Rants, Bants, and Confessions,’ a podcast show.
Bambam explained that she would get down on her knees and pray to God to heal her daughter’s mind, as well as educate her on the differences between the genders.
She said, “If my child tells ‘mum I wanna be a boy’, I will ask questions and I’d reorient and reeducate and still tell the child to decide while I go on my knees and tell my father in heaven to fix her mind. This is what I shall do.
“I would educate and say, ‘baby see, biologically, we have the same thing. Daddy’s own is different.’ I’m gonna open a book. I won’t go bring a naked man but I’ll show her this is what boys have that makes them boys and this is what girls have that makes them girls and according to history and according to creation, God created woman this way and man this way.
“But if something within you feels masculine? We are gonna talk to Jesus about it and fix it.
I believe that God create man and woman for a reason.”
