How I Met Harvesters Pastor Bolaji Idowu – Reality TV Star, Dorathy Bachor
Reality TV star, Dorathy Bachor has shared a heartwarming story about how she met the Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center, Bolaji Idowu.
In a social media post to commemorate his 42nd birthday, Dorathy revealed that she started attending the church in 2019, when her friend took her to one of their Sunday services.
Dorathy recounted how Pastor Bolaji stood at the entrance of the church after every service, waiting to shake hands with everyone.
This was the first time she attended a church where she didn’t have to book a prior appointment or stand in long queues to see the pastor, and it made her feel at home and gave her a sense of belonging.
She also noted that the people at the church were welcoming and that she would volunteer as a worker from time to time.
Dorathy said that in 2020, after participating in the Big Brother reality TV show, she was surprised to find that Pastor Bolaji celebrated her like she was his daughter, even though there was an unwritten rule that stereotypes people like her and makes them unworthy of certain people.
Dorathy further revealed that there were days when her heart would be troubled, and she would wake up to text messages from Pastor Bolaji, almost as if he could read her mind.
She added that he had taught her that there are no rules to loving God as long as one loves Him with all their heart, and that one’s faith in God is theirs alone.
