Osinbajo Tours Shettima On Aso Rock
The outgoing Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Thursday took round Vice-President-elect, Kashim Shettima on a familiarisation tour of his wing of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Overtnews reports that Shettima who spoke to State House correspondence said he came on the instance of Osinbajo to exchange ideas on how to move the nation forward.
On assuming office May 29, Shettima said himself and his principal, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will hit the ground running as they embark on the journey in fulfilling the promise made to Nigerians.
This comes after Tinubu and Shettima were conferred on with the highest national honour of the Grand Commander of Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON), respectively by the president, Muhammadu Buhari.
Also, they were handed with the transition document to the duo ahead of the May 29 inauguration.
