Man Utd Return To Champions League After 4-1 Victory Over Chelsea

Manchester United have booked qualifications for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) after beating Chelsea 4-1 in Thursday’s English Premier League (EPL) at Old Trafford.

United also secured top four spot surpassing Newcastle who are fourth on the log.

United found the back of the net six minutes after kick off thanks to Casemiro’s header at the centre of the box after a set piece cross from Christian Eriksen.

Anthony Martial doubled the lead for United with a left foot strike to make it 2-0 just before half-time break.

The Red Devils were rewarded with a penalty and it was Bruno Fernandes that answered the call to make 3-0 in the 73rd minute.

Marcus Rashford who returned from injury made it 4-0 in the 75th minute.

Chelsea’s Joao Felix had a consolation goal in the 89th minute to make it 4-1.

United are third on the log with 70 points.

Chelsea are 12th with 43 points.
