Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, in his response to workers’ plight in the state has approved the increment of their minimum wage.
Overtnews reports that the state government is one of the states in the country paying N30,000 minimum.
To this, Governor Uzodimma in his wisdom and in line with his ‘Shared Imo Prosperity’ agenda has decide to add N10,000 to their wage.
Also, they will get one meal per day and free medical care as part of the palliative measure in place by the Government. This is in addition to the free mass transit in existence since 2020.
