Chief Henry Egwuatu, An Opportunity Orlu Should Not Miss

As Imolites prepare for the state local government election in all the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) which will be conducted by the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), all eyes will be on Orlu, a major LGA in the state.

While the various political parties are gearing up for their primaries to elect a candidate that will represent their platform in the election, one outstanding figure who has indicated his interest to run on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is Honourable Chief Henry Egwuatu for Orlu LGA.

Chief Egwuatu an accomplished businessman has been in politics for more than 20 years.

However, in a recent interview with Overtnews, Chief Egwuatu said he will bring his wealth of experience in politics into governance when he is elected as chairman of Orlu LGA.

As an astute businessman, Chief Egwuatu said he will utilize the resources acrueable to Orlu mainly for the development of the LG and to uplift the people.

Having being a bona fide member of the APC and a strong ally of Gov Hope Uzodimma, Chief Egwuatu promises to use his relationship with governor to bring the needed attention to the LG in the areas of Infrastructure, improved health care delivery.

Not only on the state level, the incoming chairman also promised to leverage on his cordial relationship with the two federal lawmakers from the zone distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso in the Senate and Honourable Canice Nwachukwu Moore Omeogo in the House of Representatives.

While anchoring his administration on a people-centered administration, the distinguished politician promised to have a people oriented governance in all the wards of the local government.
