Two persons in connection with vandalising a section of the newly commissioned Second Niger Bridge have been sentenced to 13 years in imprisonment.
Recall few weeks ago, this news website reported that a section of the bridge was vandalised removing vital components.
According to reports, their arrest was made possible following investigation and evidence gathered was presented before the court.
They have been remanded to Onitsha Correctional Centre to serve their jail terms.

The Commissioner of Police has advised youths to learn lesson from this conviction and shun crime in order not to jeopardise their future.
