Popular show promoter, Paul Okoye, widely known as Pauloo, has responded to the tragic passing of fast-rising singer, Mohbad.
The entertainment industry was struck with sorrow on Tuesday night when news of Mohbad’s untimely death emerged.
Despite the grief that enveloped the industry, the ‘Ko Kpo Ke’ artist found his final resting place at his hometown in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
In the wake of Mohbad’s demise, online discussions have swirled about alleged harassment he faced after departing from his former Record Label, ‘Marlians,’ and his apparent silence on the matter.
Pauloo, who is known for his close association with Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, rebuffed the speculations that Mohbad had kept quiet about the hardships he endured before his passing.

According to the show promoter, Mohbad had confided in him about his fears, the harassment he encountered, and his battle with depression. However, he continued to display resilience and a zest for life.
Expressing his deep sorrow over Mohbad’s passing, Pauloo called on people to refrain from bullying and harassing others.
He shared his sentiments on Instagram: “I am at a loss for words right now. I was with you in London, and you opened up about your fears, the harassment, and the depression. But you remained strong. You were a shining star, and just like that, you’re gone. I’m profoundly saddened. Rest in eternal peace, Mohbad, my friend. Let’s stop bullying, let’s stop harassment.”
