Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has been billed to speak at the Nigeria Economic Trade Summit, Africa First Ladies Peace Mission, a side meeting on Gender Actions for Peace, DUSUSU Foundation among other high level meetings during the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Overtnews reports that the First Lady arrived New York after a brief stopover at the Madeira International Airport in Portugal where she met with the Nigerian Ambassador to Portugal, Alex Kefas.
This news website reported that the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu headed to New York on Friday to participate at the 78th UNGA.
President Tinubu is expected to have talks with business owners and leaders with the core objective of attract foreign investment into the country.
The President is expected to meet with his Brazilian counterpart, Lula Silva among other world leaders.

In a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the president will meet with major Chief Executives and leaders of multinational firms cutting across multiple sectors of the economy including the President of Microsoft company worldwide, Brad Smith to deepen digital transformation in the country.
