In a passionate plea, popular Nigerian music artiste Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, known as Bella Shmurda, has taken to social media to call on Seyi Tinubu, the son of former President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to intervene in the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of the late rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Mohbad, aged 27, tragically passed away on Tuesday, sending shockwaves throughout the Nigerian music industry and beyond.
His untimely demise has ignited a wave of emotions on social media, with many demanding justice.
Bella Shmurda, through a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter), appealed to Seyi Tinubu, acknowledging him as a man of integrity and the representative of Nigerian youths.
He urged Seyi to take action before the youth resort to street protests in their pursuit of justice.
In his tweets, Bella Shmurda implored:
“Seyi Tinubu, you’re the face of youth in this country, and I know you’re a man of diligence and integrity. Please, activate before we take to the streets on this matter. Police stations won’t be able to contain all of us, Ajeh!!

“Pounds for pounds, flesh for flesh. Whether you belong to aiye, eiye, or sealords, whatever it may be, this boy sang to make us happy, jubilate, think, and rejoice. We supported him even while he was in pain and living in fear. Now it’s our time to do our part for him. I want everyone, with one voice, to demand justice. All hands on deck! #JusticeForMohbad – fish them out, legally or illegally,” Bella urged.
