Nigerian singer, Temmie Ovwasa, has addressed the ongoing online drama involving her and her former boss, Olamide, clarifying that there was no physical or sexual assault involved. She urged netizens to stop spreading false information.
Temmie expressed her concerns about how Olamide handled her music career, the lack of structure in the label, and her experiences with Olamide’s wife. She also revealed her dissatisfaction with the compensation she received upon ending her contract, stating it wasn’t enough to cover living expenses in Lagos.
In her words, “I want to make it clear, Olamide did not assault me physically or sexually. Please don’t spread lies. I’m talking about my music career, the way it was managed, the lack of structure, and my experiences with those around him.”

She further highlighted her determination to succeed in the industry and share her story, emphasizing that she’s building something that goes beyond the music industry.
Temmie had previously voiced her grievances about how Olamide’s wife treated her, describing her as mean and recounting instances of public humiliation based on her humble background from Ilorin.
