Bella Shmurda, a close friend of the late rapper Mohbad, has come forward with a fiery statement since the tragic passing of the former Marlian signee on Wednesday.
Taking to the social media app “X,” the musician made startling claims regarding Mohbad’s spirit and called for the arrest of Marlian Record CEO, Naira Marley, and another associate, Sam Larry.
Shmurda’s statement, which has sent shockwaves through the music industry and beyond, reads as follows:
“In the past few days, I have tried my best not to pick up my phone and type anything. But Mohbad’s spirit won’t allow me to rest, knowing that I’m the only one who can calm his spirit by taking action against those who have made him live in fear and almost with nothing to feed on.

“And he has already started. Yes, I mean trouble is brewing just like this. I won’t stand by and let it happen. I mean it when I say Sam Larry and the entire Marlians music crew must be arrested.
All of us will stand with the police, and if the Nigerian police prove to be too weak to bring these individuals to justice, we will take matters into our own hands, whether legally or illegally.
“Whichever way it unfolds, this war has begun. If they flee the country, it only demonstrates their guilt in the alleged crimes, and they should know they can never return and must be banned from entering the country for life.”
