Port-Harcourt born singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has openly discussed the impact of his sudden rise to fame on his psychological well-being.
During a conversation with media personality Adesope Olajide on the Afrobeats Podcast, the Soso crooner revealed that he initially grappled with the challenges of fame before finding his equilibrium and embracing his unique journey.
He said, “In the beginning, I faced hardships that took a toll on my mental state as I navigated the unfamiliar terrain of fame.
Nonetheless, as time passed, I grew more at ease and discovered the importance of setting my own pace.”
With this newfound perspective, Omah Lay found inner strength, allowing him to savor life more fully.

He emphasized, “Once I grasped this concept, I became more resilient and began to relish my life. I’ve found that by incorporating my vulnerabilities into my music, I can openly address them. My music is a reflection of my genuine life experiences, and I’m aware that the world is attuned to my narrative.”
