In a recent interview on Hip TV’s program, Trending, the sensational singer, Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, popularly known as Khaid, opened up about his journey to fame and the menial jobs that shaped his path.
The 18-year-old artist, signed to comedian Sydney Talker’s Neville Records, revealed that he worked as both a painter and a car mechanic before achieving stardom.
During the candid interview hosted by reality star KimOprah, Khaid spoke about his unwavering belief in his destined greatness.
He emphasized that the various jobs he undertook were all part of the journey towards achieving his dreams.
“I see everything as programming. At that time when I was a car mechanic, I knew it was just programmed for me to be there at that time. I knew it was necessary for me to be there at that time. I knew that was not where I was going to be forever. But I just knew it was necessary for me to go through that process either for something that’s coming in the future or something that’s gonna happen at that time,” Khaid stated.

He continued to explain that he viewed each step in his journey as a crucial part of his growth and development as an artist.
“I knew it was a process at that time. And I vibed with the process until I got to where I felt like is where I’m going to,” he added.
