Mrs Uju Kennedy, the minister of women’s affairs, expressed her displeasure with the actions of an Abuja hospital that turned away a dying patient following a violent attack on a bus designated as “one chance,” saying she would make sure such an incident never happened again.
The minister stated on Monday’s episode of Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily that he would go to the hospital to “fight for” the late Greatness Olorunfemi.
After getting on the bus that was disguised as a commercial vehicle along the Maitama/Kubwa Highway, Olorunfemi, a young woman, was stabbed. She was then thrown out into the streets.
She was taken by Good Samaritans to Maitama General Hospital, but the hospital refused to treat her because she had not given them a police report.
“I’m heading to the hospital. I’m going there to fight for the late girl they abandoned so that we make sure it never happens again,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy expressed her concerns about this incident and promised to look into it more thoroughly.
