Popular Nigerian On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, has berated clergymen who refer to the BBNaija show as immoral.
He insisted that the same men of God who condemned the show have no problems with the latest winner’s decision to pay her tithe from the money she won from the show.
Ilebaye emerged winner of the 2023 Big Brother Naija All Stars Edition with N120m prize money and afterwards announced that she will not touch the money until she has paid her 10 per cent tithe.
Reacting to Ilebaye’s decision via a post on Instagram, Freeze wondered why none of the pastors who slammed the show spoke up to condemn her for giving money from an immoral show to the church.
He wrote, “Many pastors say Big brother show na immoral show, Ilebaye bring 12m tithe from 120m prize money, everybody quiet. Mammon is the god most of them worship.”
