Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho of the Super Eagles will not play in the team’s friendly match against Mozambique.
This is in accordance with a Sunday update on the team’s X handle.
The 2-2 draw with the Saudi Arabian Green Falcons on Friday saw Osimhen replaced.
The Napoli forward, however, won’t play against Mozambique on Monday as a “precautionary measure on advice of the medical team,” according to the team’s handlers, who made the announcement days after the match.
For Iheanacho, he was excused to enable him to attend to “pressing personal issues”.
