Harry Kane Defies Odds, Commits to England Camp Despite Ankle Injury Setback

Despite sustaining an ankle injury while playing for Bayern Munich, Harry Kane is expected to join the England squad for their March internationals.

Bayern confirmed his travel plans for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.

Concerns emerged following the injury he incurred during Bayern’s recent victory over Darmstadt, where he collided with the goalposts.

Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel described the incident as Kane slipping and falling into the net, resulting in an ankle twist.

Nevertheless, it appears that Kane will be fit to participate, providing relief to England manager Gareth Southgate.

Bayern released a comforting statement, but didn’t outline the severity of Kane’s injury. The club said: “The striker has still travelled to international duty with England and will be treated by the team doctors there, in close consultation with the FC Bayern medical department.”
