Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the Chairman of the Commission, made this announcement during Tuesday’s meeting, emphasizing that the training will equip the selected officials with the necessary knowledge and skills required for their roles in the forthcoming elections.

Prior to this announcement, the commission had convened a meeting with leaders of political parties on Monday, and has scheduled additional meetings with representatives from the media and security agencies for Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Prof. Yakubu urged the CSOs to promptly submit their applications and relevant data through the INEC portal for accreditation, facilitating seamless coordination and collaboration in the electoral process.
