Liverpool Five Points Clear After Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota’s Braces Against AFC Bournemouth

Liverpool extended their unbeaten league run to 14 games on Sunday as they comfortably defeated Bournemouth 4-0, securing a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Although the first half was characterized by a lack of goal-scoring opportunities, the visitors shifted into a higher gear in the second half.

Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota both showcased their scoring prowess by netting two goals each.

In the 49th minute, Nunez found the back of the net to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead. A brilliant passing sequence dismantled Bournemouth’s defense, allowing Jota to secure the victory with two precise finishes in the 70th and 79th minutes.
