Nigerian TV Series, The Johnsons Ends After 13 Years


The beloved Nigerian TV series, “The Johnsons,” has officially concluded its 13-year run.

Charles Inojie, the director of the series, made the announcement on Monday night, marking the end of an era for fans across Africa.

Despite the show’s immense popularity and being recognized as Africa’s most-watched television series, Inojie did not disclose the specific reasons behind the decision to bring “The Johnsons” to a close.

In a heartfelt message, he expressed gratitude to the production team, including Rogers Ofime, Nativemediatv, and Africa Magic, for the privilege of being a part of this iconic journey.

“Thank you, Africa, for 13 years of absolute magic, awesomeness, and for making ‘The Johnsons’ a staple in every family’s entertainment. I am immensely grateful to our fans across the African continent for the unconditional love and support,” Inojie shared in his farewell message.

While the end of the series marks a bittersweet moment for fans, Inojie hinted at the beginning of new ventures for each member of the team.
