Tinubu Names Kemi Nandap as New Immigration Chief


President Bola Tinubu has appointed Kemi Nanna Nandap as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

Nandap, previously serving as Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.

Effective March 1, 2024, Nandap assumes leadership, succeeding Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term concluded on February 29, 2024.

The announcement was made by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

In his statement, President Tinubu expressed confidence in Nandap’s ability to deepen ongoing reforms and institute mechanisms for efficient service delivery.

Emphasizing the importance of border security and migration management, the President anticipates Nandap’s proactive approach in strengthening national security and ensuring dedicated service to Nigerians.
