Tragedy Strikes: Taraba Mourns as Gunmen Claim Traditional Ruler’s Life


Gunmen believed to be assassins have fatally shot Alhaji Abdulmutallib Nuhu, the Chief of Sansani, in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The Assistant Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Kwache Gambo, confirmed the incident to journalists, stating that the assailants, in a group, raided the monarch’s residence and killed him without making any demands.

Gambo disclosed that the assailants invaded the palace of Jankada of Sansani around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday night.

She mentioned that empty ammunition shells were discovered in the palace, and as of now, no arrests have been made.

Furthermore, she revealed that investigations into the killing have been initiated to identify the perpetrators.
