Transfer Alert: Man Utd Face £100m Price Tag for Bremer and Todibo as Juventus and Nice Set Asking Prices

Reports suggest that Manchester United may need to spend approximately £100 million ($126m) to secure defensive targets Bremer and Jean-Clair Todibo.

The club is keen to reinforce its backline amid uncertainties surrounding the futures of Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, and Jonny Evans.

Nice center-back, Todibo has long been on United’s radar, and sources indicate that the Ligue 1 side could demand £40m ($50m) for the talented defender.

Additionally, given that Nice is owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos, who are minority stakeholders in United, the English club may have some leverage in negotiations.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus has set a price tag of €60m (£51m/$65m) to €70m (£60m/$76m) for Bremer, with the Brazilian defender also having a release clause in his contract close to this figure, potentially activatable from the summer of 2025. Additionally, there is reportedly a verbal agreement between Bremer and Juventus that the club would consider bids in a similar range in 2024, but the final decision to allow him to leave rests with the Serie A outfit.

Manchester United is reportedly prepared to meet Juventus’s demands for Bremer and is considering including Mason Greenwood in any potential deal to lower the transfer fee, as per reports from Gazzetta.

Furthermore, United is keeping tabs on Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite in an effort to bolster their defense, which has conceded 39 goals in 28 Premier League matches.

With several key players expected to depart Old Trafford in the summer, United fans should prepare for a revamped defense in the upcoming season.
