We’ll Commence Prosecution Of Detained Boko Haram Fighters In Kainji, Says Ribadu

The National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, has disclosed that Nigeria has commenced the prosecution of all Boko Haram detainees in Kainji.

He made this known during the 2-day High-level African Counter-terrorism Summit in Abuja.

He mentioned that Nigeria is actively collecting intelligence on the operations of Boko Haram and the Islamic State–West Africa Province (ISWAP) in order to confront these groups directly.

Vladimir Voronkov, the Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism at the United Nations Office on Counter-Terrorism, emphasized the importance of collaboration among African nations for devising solutions tailored to the continent’s needs, stating that the success of the United Nations hinges on this collective effort.
