He stated this on his official twitter handle on Wednesday evening.

According to him, it’s a “waste of envy” as he doesn’t even have anything (money).

Linking it to music, he said the only thing he has, is the inheritance of Afrobeat from music icon, late Fela Kuti.

He noted that even with that inheritance, he still shares it with plenty of his colleagues.

Fela Kuti was a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer, political activist, and Pan-Africanist. He is regarded as the pioneer of Afrobeat, an African music genre that combines West African music with American funk and jazz.

He wrote, “I pity who dey envy me, waste of envy coz me no get shi shi…Fela no leave any inheritance for us except from afrobeat Nd we plenty wey Dey share am💐❤️.”
