-

Music executive Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has refuted claims of being under police investigation regarding a N1.2 billion dispute with Autocrop Limited.

In a statement released on Thursday, E-Money addressed the reports as “misleading” and clarified that the ongoing investigation pertains to a business transaction involving Emy Cargo & Shipping Services Limited.

“The news alleging a Police probe into a N1.2 billion dispute between E-Money and Autocorp Limited is not an accurate representation of facts,” the statement read.

Emphasizing their cooperation with law enforcement, E-Money and Emy Cargo & Shipping Services Limited have provided detailed information regarding the business dealings to the authorities.

The statement concluded by urging the public to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and sensationalized information, asserting that the truth of the situation is more nuanced than recent reports suggest.
