Kizz Daniel: A Musical Journey

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, stands as a beacon of talent in Nigeria’s vibrant music scene.

Born on May 1, 1994, his journey to stardom is a tale of resilience, creativity, and unwavering passion for music.

Growing up, Kizz Daniel attended Abeokuta Grammar School before pursuing higher education at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

Despite his academic pursuits in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology, his heart was set on a different path: music.

Balancing his studies with his musical aspirations, he began carving out his niche in the industry.

Under the moniker Kiss Daniel, he inked a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013.

This marked the beginning of his musical journey, culminating in the release of hit singles like “Woju” and “Yeba,” which resonated deeply with audiences across Nigeria and beyond.

However, fame was not without its trials. In May 2018, he rebranded as Kizz Daniel and founded his record label, Fly Boy Inc, following a highly publicized dispute with his former record label.

Undeterred by the challenges, he forged ahead, determined to chart his own course in the music industry.

In the midst of his musical triumphs, Kizz Daniel faced personal loss with the passing of his father, Kola Anidugbe, in 2015.

His heartfelt tribute revealed the depth of his emotions and the complexities of balancing fame with family responsibilities.

In May 2021, Kizz Daniel welcomed a set of triplets, Jamal, Jalil, and Jelani, with his partner, MJ. Despite the joyous occasion, tragedy struck with the loss of one of the triplets, Jamal, just four days after birth.

Nevertheless, Kizz Daniel remains committed to honoring his son’s memory and being the best father to his surviving children.

Kizz Daniel’s musical prowess knows no bounds. From his debut studio album “New Era” to the chart-topping success of “No Bad Songz” and “King of Love,” his discography is a testament to his artistry and versatility.

Collaborations with industry heavyweights like Wizkid and Davido have further solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with in the African music scene.

Beyond music, Kizz Daniel has ventured into entrepreneurship as the CEO of Flyboy Inc. His net worth, estimated at $5 million, reflects his success in music sales, endorsements, and live performances. With a penchant for luxury cars and sold-out international concerts, he continues to leave an indelible mark on the global stage.

Kizz Daniel’s accolades speak volumes about his impact on the music industry. From winning Best New Act at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards to clinching Album of the Year at the Headies Awards, his trophy cabinet is a testament to his enduring influence and creativity.

Throughout his career, Kizz Daniel has weathered storms of controversy, from legal disputes with former record labels to rebranding battles over his stage name. Yet, through it all, he has emerged stronger, embodying the spirit of resilience and determination.

As he continues to captivate audiences with his soulful melodies and infectious beats, Kizz Daniel remains a shining example of Nigerian musical excellence, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and inspiring aspiring artists to reach for the stars.
